Screed Giant’s GIANT Cycle Ride

In aid of Macmillan Cancer Support

 

Friday 10th April – Saturday 11th April 2015 at The Britannia Stadium, Stoke-on-Trent

We are holding a HUGE fundraising event in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support and we are aiming to raise a MASSIVE £10,000! We need as much support as we can get if are going to reach this target so please donate whatever you can on our just giving page!

 

Our challenge is to cycle 500km in 24 hours on exercise bikes.

We will have two teams of four taking part, one from Screed Giant and one from our parent company Tekfloor. Our team will be Darren, Mark, Katie and Georgia. The two teams will be racing against each other to see who can travel the furthest in 24 hours. Each of us will have to cycle 100km, averaging a speed of approximately 21km/h (13mph). We will each be taking it in turns to cycle for 30 minute stints for the duration of the 24 hours.

The challenge will be streamed on a live webcam to our website so that you can all keep a track on our progress, and watch the losing team squirm as they face a nasty forfeit.

Exscreedingly Giant Networking Fundraiser

We will also be holding a HUGE networking event to be attended by national and local businesses of all shapes and sizes, which will be a great opportunity for ALL businesses, of all sizes and industries to meet like-minded business men and women and build stronger business relationships.

We will be holding an interactive exhibition where attendees can get involved in mini cycling challenges and loads of other fun fundraising activity.

 

 

 

Charity Evening

Our networking event will be followed by a fundraising evening of entertainment which will include live music from two fantastic up and coming bands, dj set, silent auction, raffles, Hot and cold buffet and two fully licensed bars!
