Description
6mm Screeding Fibres
FCS Vertex Screed 6mm Screeding Fibres will provide early age crack control and toughness. The hardened 6mm Screeding Fibres are simple; They mix easily in semi-dry and sand/cement mixes and even dry bagged materials
You can add the degradable bag to wet mixes, but for dry mixes, it’s best to empty the fibres into the mixer.
Once the fibres are added, 5 minutes of mixing will ensure their full and even distribution throughout the mix.
For specific information and instructions, see the Mixing and Finishing instructions provided by Fibre Concrete Solutions.

What are the best fibres for concrete?
Fibres significantly improve concrete’s durability by reducing cracking and increasing resistance to wear and tear. Additionally, they enhance structural integrity by distributing stress evenly, which minimises weak points. As a result, the lifespan and reliability of concrete structures are greatly improved, making them safer and more cost-effective in the long run.
Fibres enhance the residual strength of concrete, ensuring it can withstand greater loads and maintain structural integrity
Fibre reinforcement minimises cracking, particularly in situations involving plastic shrinkage and settlement.
We also have 12mm screeding fibres available here.
