Flowcrete Aqualock OneCoat is a 2-component, solvent-free, epoxy-based damp-proof membrane.

Uses

Flowcrete Aqualock OneCoat is designed for single-coat application, specifically when your substrate is damp and typical Flowcrete primers aren’t suitable. With Aqualock OneCoat, you can apply Flowcrete coatings directly onto concrete surfaces with relative humidity levels reaching up to 97% (as tested in accordance with BS 8203). Just make sure the surface is dry; there shouldn’t be any visible moisture present as you begin your application.

0.42 kg/m2 system for concrete substrates up to 92% RH (thickness approx. 250 microns) 0.5 kg/m2 system for concrete substrates up to 97% RH (thickness approx. 350 microns) Suitable with underfloor heating (suitable for heated concrete and sand cement screeds (provided the surface temperature does not exceed 27°C in accordance with BS 8203 and BS 5325).

Note.

Flowcrete Aqualock OneCoat serves as an excellent base for resin-rich coatings and primers, including products like Flowcoat SF41, Peran SL, and Peran STC.

Transitioning from the use of Aqualock, you can easily apply these coatings to enhance surface performance.

For cementitious products and screeds, use two coats of Hydraseal DPM with a sand scatter in the second layer (see technical information for Hydraseal DPM).

Ratio of components

Mix 3.4 parts of Flowcrete Aqualock OneCoat Base A with 1 part of Aqualock OneCoat Hardener B by weight. Stir the Base A and Hardener B components before adding all of Hardener B to Base A.

Mix with a slow-speed drill and helical spinner, taking care not to entrain air. Note. Mix for 4-5 minutes to obtain a consistent and uniform grey colour. Ensure all materials from the base and sides of the containers are mixed in thoroughly to ensure complete curing.
