Remmers SK10 Water Stop Tape
Remmers SK10 Water Stop Tape – Highly elastic, self-adhesive, butyl rubber on polypropylene non-woven fabric. Water Stop SK 10 bridges and waterproofs movement and expansion joints in sanitary, kitchen and bath areas as well as connection joints when repairing plinths. Movements are reliably compensated and permanently waterproofed. For use in moisture classes 0, A01, A02 and B0.
Uses
Water Stop SK 10/Water Stop SK 25 is used to quickly waterproof movement and expansion joints under tiles laid in a thin bed, Liquid Foil, Elasto Grout 1K/2K, Flex Grout 2K, Multi-Tight 2K and under ceramic tiles in normal household areas. Also for connecting to built in elements in plinth areas when waterproofing with PMB and grout systems.
Water Stop SK 10/SK 25 is cemented directly onto all conventional, mineral substrates as well as non-absorbent substrates. The water stop is then worked over with the first layer of the waterproofing material. The water stop is notched at corners and cemented overlapping. Depending on the waterproofing product used, the 2nd and 3rd layer of waterproofing are applied over the entire surface.
