Product description
Flowcrete Peran SL 22.8Kg is a self-smoothing, coloured 3-component epoxy-based floor coating.
Uses
Flowcrete Peran SL 22.8Kg effectively protects concrete by enhancing its durability, enabling it to withstand both mechanical and chemical stress. This versatile solution meets the stringent requirements for high-performance concrete protection. The finished surface becomes smooth, impermeable, and easy to clean. Peran SL is a self-levelling system applied in coats of 1.5 – 3 mm.
Environment & Health
Peran SL is a solvent and nonylphenol-free product, and practically odourless. Please follow the appropriate Occupational Health and Safety guidelines that apply to the location where the
application is undertaken. For more information, please refer to the safety datasheets for the individual components.
Ratio of components
In a specific mixture, 3.3 parts of component A combine with 1 part of component B and 4.1 parts of component C by weight. Meanwhile, in another mixture, 2.3 parts of component A are combined with 1 part of component B and 1.6 parts of component C, but this time by volume. This highlights the differences in the mixing ratios when considering weight versus volume.
Add all of Hardener B to Base A and mix before adding Filler C.
Ensure that all Filler C is mixed in from the sides of the container and fully dispersed throughout the mix. Mix with a slow-speed drill and helical spinner, taking care not to entrain air.
Application temperature
The recommended substrate temperature is 15-25°C, but no less than 10°C. The temperature of the substrate should exceed the “dew point” by 3°C during application and hardening.
Temperatures should not fall below 5°C in the 24 hrs after application. To ensure optimal performance, use the ready-mixed product within 30 minutes at a temperature of 18°C.
At higher temperatures the application time is shorter.
Curing time (20°C)
It can be walked on after 24 hours.
The product is fully hardened after 5-7 days.
High humidity in the early stages of cure can result in white, matt surfaces (blooming).
Do not cover or wash within the first 24 hours of curing.
